Habits have a huge influence on the quality of your life. Good habits can significantly improve it and bad ones can gradually make you miserable.
Here are 10 good daily habits for life and 10 bad habits we should avoid based on my experience:
Good daily habits for a happy life
β€οΈ Love to be loved: give without expecting anything in return, love everyone around you and you'll be loved. Open your heart and people will open theirs.
ποΈββοΈ Exercise: move your body, it will thank you.
π₯ Eat healthy: an obvious one but so important. Drink water, avoid junk food and listen to your body after you eat something to know if it's healthy or not.
π Socialize: meet new people, meet old friends, call people you like to have conversations with. I personally love socializing with older people.
π Create & build: grow a business, code, write, sing, paint, make music.
π§ββοΈ Meditate: Do nothing for 10 minutes and focus only on your breathing, it will calm your mind.
π Journal: express gratitude, write down your intentions in life.
πΊ Learn something: gain a new skill or improve existing ones, try new hobbies, gain valuable knowledge, read books
π Remind yourself: re-read quotes and books that resonate with you, re-watch speeches that inspire you, read philosophy
π· Slow down: listen to music, play, drink wine, eat slowly, water your plants
Bad habits for a miserable life
Avoid these bad habits as much as you can (it's ok to indulge in these sometimes of course)
π Multiple desires: one at a time is enough
π Drugs: alcohol, pills, etc
π° News: itβs very toxic
π¨ Luxury: it's a trap, we are not special
π Validation seeking: social media/peer attention will only inflate your ego
π Busy schedule: itβs better to be bored than busy
π Complaining: accept things as they are
π¦ Bad energy: avoid anything that sucks your positive energy
πͺ Toxic relationships: spend time with happy people instead
